We’re pleased to announce that Dealum has partnered with the UK Business Angels Association (UKBAA). Through the partnership, UKBAA’s DealShare platform will now be powered by Dealum, providing its member community with a dedicated space to share and discover investment opportunities.
UKBAA is the national trade association for angel and early-stage investment in the UK. It represents over 590 members who collectively deploy more than £2bn annually, including angel groups, individual investors, early-stage VCs, equity platforms, family offices, universities and accelerators. As a not-for-profit run by and for its members, UKBAA works to connect the investment ecosystem across the UK.
The problem the partnership addresses
Angel investing depends heavily on collaboration, but sharing opportunities across different groups and networks can be fragmented. Each organisation has its own processes and systems, making it harder for relevant deals to reach investors beyond their immediate network.
DealShare helps bridge that gap by giving UKBAA members a dedicated space to share and discover investment opportunities across the wider community. This can help promising companies gain broader exposure while supporting greater collaboration across the UK’s angel investment ecosystem.
What changes
UKBAA’s existing DealShare platform will now be powered by Dealum, giving members a dedicated space to share and discover investment opportunities across the UKBAA community. It will also give UKBAA greater visibility into the opportunities and engagement taking place through DealShare.
Part of a wider picture
The partnership builds on Dealum’s work with leading angel associations around the world, including the European Business Angels Network (EBAN), Angel Capital Association (ACA), African Business Angel Network (ABAN), Business Angels Deutschland (BAND), Angel Investors Ontario (AIO), Saudi Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (SVCPEA), Angel Investors Ontario (AIO), Connect Sverige and more.
Together with the many angel networks already using Dealum, these partnerships support our wider goal of strengthening collaboration and connectivity across the global early-stage investment ecosystem.
Each partnership adds to a shared layer of infrastructure that lets angel groups collaborate across borders rather than only within them.
